Streamer Adin Ross calls out Canada's Wonderland saying park owes him a refund

After an apparent move to Toronto, Kick streamer Adin Ross has been causing quite the stir, sharing his characteristically controversial takes about the city and his experiences within it to his millions of followers.

One of the latest local incidents that Ross has discussed on his channel is a trip he took to Canada's Wonderland, which apparently did not go over well, and has even led to threats of legal action from the 23-year-old.

Calling the Vaughan attraction "Canadian Wonderland" during a stream this week, Ross claimed that he and his team were ejected from the park "for no reason" during their recent visit and "deserve a refund" that they have been unable to secure from the Six Flags-owned destination.

"You guys have not refunded me. I'm not gonna really speak on it, but it's fine, my legal team and I are speaking on how to go forward from here. I want to figure out what I can do to maximize myself in the situation," Ross said during a reflection on his disappointing day devoid of rides and thrills.

"At the end of the day, you let us through your park, you kicked me out for no reason, and I deserve a refund, me and my team, and that's that."

He added that his manager spent upwards of three hours on the phone with Wonderland representatives trying to find a solution to no avail, and also that his offer to rent the entire park outright for $150,000 to be able to go in the future was rejected.

While Ross may have his army of unwavering supporters, in seems many members of the general public doubt the internet personality's story, suggesting that if he was booted from the park, there must have been a good reason.

A few are also calling for him to be ousted from the GTA in general, calling him a "rich asshole," a clown and much worse.

But, this isn't the only time in recent memory that a guest has accused the theme park of poor practices surrounding. In August, a person took to TikTok to complain of how she was out $200 after her Fast Lane wristband — which she says was attached too loosely, something she had pointed out to an employee at the time — fell off.

"They told me that they do not have a replacement band policy and there is no refund policy," she said, even though she had her timestamped receipt and had been in the park for less than an hour.

She alleges that she was told to buy a new pass, and that staff might have been able to do something if she had taken a photo of the pass on her wrist.

Some online speculate that the ousting may have been due to the crowding and chaos that occurred when swarms of people recognized him.

blogTO has reached out to Canada's Wonderland and Six Flags for comment on Ross's claims.
