Toronto Criterium St. Lawrence Market

Photos of the St. Lawrence Market Criterium

The annual St. Lawrence Market Criterium was thankfully spared rain on Sunday, as 100s of cyclists darted around the market area on carbon-based race machines in full team kit. A criterium, or crit as it's more commonly referred to, involves a short course (usually not much more than a kilometre) that riders will circle at speeds in excess of 45 Kph. Because these races involve multiple laps, high speed, and frequent corners, they're some of the most exciting cycling events to watch.

Check out the photos.
