The 2025 AutoTrader Award winners have been announced, and now you can check out what some of the most experienced automotive experts in Canada have to say about which vehicles deserve your attention.

As one of the largest and most trusted automotive marketplaces in Canada, AutoTrader boasts hundreds of thousands of new and used vehicles for sale across the country.

With such a large platform, it's committed to giving Canadians the best advice when it comes to purchasing their next ride, and the 2025 AutoTrader Awards aim to do just that, as the most trusted automotive awards based on 2023 Ipsos research.

Spanning 28 categories to help Canadian drivers feel confident in their vehicles, these awards represent 2025's "best buys," and were adjudicated by a panel of more than 20 automotive journalists from across the country.

"As the country's leading and most trusted automotive marketplace, AutoTrader is dedicated to empowering Canadians during their car-buying journey," said AutoTrader's Editor-in-Chief Jodi Lai in a press release. "So, it's important that we are also a source of unbiased and trustworthy car advice, and that's what these awards are all about."

These experts looked at a number of factors such as value, practicality, performance, safety, innovation, and overall excellence — weeding out the current vehicles on the market to find the best of the best.

"We know that picking a new vehicle can be overwhelming because there are so many good options competing for your hard-earned dollars," said Lai. "AutoTrader Awards are here to take out some of the guesswork and are a solid jumping-off point for someone researching their next vehicle."
