Muskoka's premier beer festival makes for the perfect weekend getaway in Ontario
Get ready for a packed weekend of brews, bites and beats with your best buds, because the Beerhurst @ Deerhurst Craft Beer Festival is coming back to Huntsville for its fourth year in a row.
Presented in partnership with 102.1 The Edge, this fun-filled weekend is a craft beer lover’s paradise in one of Muskoka's most scenic towns.
From Friday, March 1, until Sunday, March 3, you can expect the perfect winter weekend getaway featuring a live concert party with The Trews, crafted artisan selection of Ontario craft beer, winter activities and more.
Hosted in one of Ontario’s oldest continually operating resorts, Deerhurst Resort will be home to over 20 of the best craft breweries in the province, including Creemore Springs, Hockley Valley Brewing Co., Great Lakes Brewery and many more.
The party starts on Friday, where you can get straight into the fun with beer-inspired late-night bites and live music.
And that’s just the kickoff because Saturday is jam-packed with a host of winter fun during the day like cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, kick sleds and disc golf. But, the premier attraction is the Sip & Skate party on the outdoor rink Saturday afternoon.
After getting your fill of winter fun, you can warm up by heading to Deerhurst’s indoor hot tub or sit by the fire in one of their multi-bedroom accommodations with a fireplace.
Now that you’ve rested up, it’s time to hit up the Saturday festivities (starting around 6 p.m.) in Deerhurst’s Legacy Hall. There, you’ll get to experience and sample all the amazing brewers on display, indulge in some Beerhurst Bites and a killer concert featuring one of Canada’s most successful rock bands of the past decade, The Trews.
Whether you want to take advantage of the whole weekend or just want to arrive Saturday for a one-night stay, Beerhurst @ Deerhurst has one- and two-night packages you can choose from for a fun getaway you won’t soon forget.
Tickets are available on Deerhurst’s website, so make sure you book now and sip away the first weekend of March!
