Dream Cyclery
Dream Cyclery bike shop is the culmination of a lifelong dream of bike-enthusiast Linus Kwak, a man of an impressive amount of trades, yet who is modest enough to define himself as a "bike shop employee."
The shop stays true to its online motto - coffee is brewing, jazz is playing, and Linus is fully prepared for any type of work on any type of bicycle.
Linus followed his dream a year ago, taking over an old psychic shop and building this shrine to bikes from scratch. The studio-sized space is not just for fixing and upgrading bikes, but also acts as a workshop for Linus to build his own custom parts - starting with wheels ($65 each).
He hopes to begin designing and selling bike frames within the year, just another vision the shop has helped bring to life.
An engineer by trade, Linus has worked in multiple bike shops and has over a decade of professional wheel building experience. In speaking with him, it quickly becomes evident how passionate Linus is about bicycles.
On top of professional expertise, Dream Cyclery comes equipped with a thorough selection of bike parts and pieces by a variety of brands.
For enthusiast and long distance riders, Linus jokes that they don't go looking for parts sold in shops and confidently states that he knows where to find the more expensive and unique pieces that they desire. If not, he'll custom-build them.
If it's a new ride you're looking for, Linus has a small selection of bicycles available for sale in-store.
Whether you're in need of a tune-up ($70-$200), new bike parts, expert advice or custom pieces, there is no task that Dream Cyclery can't seem to handle. For those unable to make it to the shop, Linus offers a unique delivery and pick-up service .
