Resto Boemo
Resto Boemo wants to be a go-to spot for Canadian comfort food. The brain child of gnocchi expert Ivana Raca and Chopped host Brad Smith, Boemo combines two forces to form a stall at Assembly Chef's Hall.
The Boho Gnoc ($17.95 for a half portion) comes with a chorizo red sauce and goes quickly during lunch.
The mushroom truffle cream is a white sauce gnocchi and more popular during dinner – a full portion ($22.95) will leave you stuffed.
It won’t, however, make you sleepy. The gnocchi is 90 percent ricotta meaning less wheat and more cheese.
They’ve also got some Free Spirit sliders ($17.95) made of meatball, red sauce and and basil pesto that comes with shoestring fries.
Upgrade to a Saucy Mess slider ($19.95) and your fries are substituted with signature truffle parmesan fries.
Also on the menu is a Boho salad ($12.95) which comes with baby kale, winter-preserved blueberries, tamari almonds, parmesan, and balsamic.
Finally, don't sleep on the classic greasy burger ($9.95). High quality beef, chilli butter, and processed cheese – lovingly referred to as ‘high-performance cheese’ – are cooked into 13-inch double burgers and ready to eat in as little as 3 minutes.
