Shoto, the top-tier restaurant of Chef David Chang's Momofuku complex at the Shangri-La Hotel is likely the most exclusive dining to be had in Toronto. The ultra-exclusive 22-seater dining room surrounds an open concept kitchen where Mitchell Bates (a far too young looking chef de cuisine) and his team prepare dishes that seem to come straight from your culinary dreams. Entry to this luxurious 10-course tasting menu will cost you a cool $150 and an additional $80 should you choose to pair with wine. But suffice it to say, if you've got the dough, this is an experience you won't regret treating yourself to.
