Just Falafel is a vegetarian fast food franchise that originated in Abu Dhabi and is now expanding internationally. This spot on Bay north of College is its first location in Canada, and it's riding the "Mediterranean food is in" wave we've been experiencing here in the city. You can get "Grandma's Original Recipe" or "Mediterranean" falafel in a wrap or a bowl, or Italian-, Indian-, Mexican- and even Canadian-inspired versions (although I'm not really sure why beets, cucumber and mixed salad makes "The Great Canadian" particularly Canadian...?).

Funnily enough, it's not "just falafel" - you can also opt to have something called "Chick'n Tenders," which are vegan/veggie interpretations of chicken nuggets. They've also got breakfast wraps, soups and salads on the menu, plus "JF Poutine," with garlic cheese curds and veggie gravy over skin-on fries. If you try the latter, let me know how it is.
