Fish & Loaf

Fish & Loaf in Scarborough is named after its owners' interest in feeding people and has a name that references the biblical story of Jesus feeding the masses.

Utilizing local and sustainable produce, including dry-aged meats and freshly imported seafood, the health-driven cuisine served doesn't adhere to a single style, and is Chinese-inspired using Japanese and European techniques.

For slightly fancier items, the menu features everything from a whole grilled lobster dressed in herb butter to dry-aged Japanese A5 wagyu beef or Iberico pork steak.

For something less fussy but in no way pedestrian, there's cumin chicken and lamb, even beef tongue or soft shell crab that's served on a bun.
