El-Sabil Restaurant is a Halal restaurant that specializes in Middle-Eastern dishes. While it also offers excellent Western favourites such as thick and juicy burgers, their specialty is definitely the shawarmas. For under $15, you can get some of the biggest and tastiest shawarmas in town. Note that the place is often busy with takeout requests during mealtimes, which makes their consistently friendly and efficient service all the more impressive. The restaurant is located very close to the Scarborough Muslim Association's Abu Bakr mosque.
