Cucini Xpress on Yonge north of Dundas is the first Toronto location of a popular Whitby-based Sri Lankan restaurant that's gained a reputation for its diverse menu of inspired foods.

In addition to a strong list of Sri Lankan eats including kothu roti, lamprais, and biryani, there are options like fried rice or pasta, plus dishes featuring curry, jerk and fried chicken.

The take-out friendly space does serve shock value-driven foods like red velvet cake and ice cream topped fries or a classic beef burger capped by a giant scoop of deep-fried, chocolate wafer-coated ice cream.
