Cafe le Majestik is a Cha Chaan Teng (Hong Kong-style cafe) serving comfort food in the 80s retro-inspired interior.

The decor of the Markham Rd. and McNicoll Ave restaurant is a nod to the owner's childhood, from the wallpaper murals of Hong Kong residential buildings to mismatched coloured folding chairs and even the folding metal gates.

Expect noodle soups topped with beef brisket and tendon, deep-fried shrimp toast and chicken wings, Hong Kong-style combos dishes like stir-fried rice noodles with beef (aka beef ho fun), dim sum, street snacks, plus butter-stuffed pineapple bun.

The curry pork chop with scrambled egg donburi is the signature item here.
