28 Bayview Ridge Toronto

Opulent $12 million Toronto mansion comes with just about everything in marble

Five years ago, 28 Bayview Ridge was a 25,000-square-foot triangular lot being sold for land value with plans and permits to build a new house.

They had it listed in 2020 for $4,380,000 and then dropped the price to $3,980,000, but it never sold.

So, the owners took matters into their own hands and built an ultra-luxury 9,200-square-foot mansion.

A view into the living room.

From the outside, the home almost looks like a generated image. It is flawless, and the interiors are equally picture-perfect.

The brand new estate is an over-the-top opulent and impeccably designed with some stunning craftsmanship.

The foyer.

As you enter the mansion, you're greeted by an enormous 23-foot high foyer with bookmatched flooring. It gives quite the first impression.

The family room.

The home's main floor features 10-foot ceilings, marble floors and plenty of architectural details like the dentil crown moulding and the Grecian marble columns. 28 Bayview Ridge Toronto

The dining room.

The principal rooms on the main floor are spacious and bright thanks to all the windows.

The living room.

However, they're all a bit on the cold side with the white walls and all the stone and in the living room, where you think things cozy up with a fireplace, you find out it's just an LED light fireplace.

The eat-in kitchen that walks out to the backyard.

The kitchen is luxurious, with an onyx slab backsplash, custom cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances.

A second kitchen.

There's a second "dirty" kitchen behind the primary kitchen if you don't want to ruin the picture-perfect main kitchen.

The office.

On the main floor is a home office with an LED-lit ceiling mural that adds a touch of uniqueness.

28 Bayview Rdge. boasts five bedrooms and ten bathrooms.

A bedroom.

The bedrooms are all on the second floor, and each has its own heated private ensuite.

One of the primary bedroom ensuites and walk-in closets.

The primary bedroom is more of a suite. It has 11-foot ceilings, not one but two spa-like ensuites with a Jacuzzi tub and two walk-in closets that rival most luxury boutiques in Yorkville.

The primary bedroom.

The most interesting thing about the primary suite is the massive fresco-style ceiling mural that covers the entire room. While not everyone wants to stare at cherub angel babies in clouds before they go to sleep, some people do.

The basement party room.

The luxury continues in the basement of 28 Bayview Rdge.

The spa zone.

There's a party room with a full bar and refrigerated wine cellar, a gym, sauna and Hydropool swim spa.

Integrated Gaggeneau appliances in the kitchen.

Adding to the ultra-luxury living experience is all the tech that's built into the house, from fully automated smart lighting to security cameras and automatic irrigation – the house looks after itself.

28 Bayview Ridge Toronto

The backyard.

The only letdown is the outdoor space. Since the house is on a triangular lot and the driveway and house take up the widest part, the backyard is basically non-existent.

The dining room from the foyer.

Then again, if you don't care about having a huge lawn, then it doesn't really matter.

28 Bayview Rdge. is listed for $11,888,000.
