This is what a $14 million mansion in Toronto looks like
For $14 million dollars you could live on a cruise ship for more than 50 years, you could buy several private jets, a couple yachts, numerous luxury cars or even a private island.
Or you could get this house in the Bridle Path neighbourhood.
This five-bedroom, 10-bathroom luxury mansion at 71 Arjay Crescent is the builder's own home and is listed for $13,888,8888.
The home boats over 10,000-square-feet of living space and half an acre of land.
When you first walk in the home you're greeted by a 24-foot high foyer with a huge chandelier and skylight. It definitely sets the tone for the rest of the house.
The rooms are massive with luxury craftsmanship featured throughout.
The home does appear a bit cold with all the white marble but the heated floors mean that it likely isn't a freezing, cavernous mansion.
And not to be outdone by any of the other Bridle Path luxury mansions this one comes complete with not one but four gourmet kitchens.
It also has two bars, a gym, a sauna, nanny quarters, a wine room and home theatre and much much more.
The main floor is mostly open concept. My favourite part is the breakfast dining area that's under an almost greenhouse-like roof.
The primary bedroom has a nine-piece ensuite and gorgeous views of the backyard.
Speaking of which, outside you'll find lush landscaping, a resort-style outdoor pool with a water feature and a four-seasons cabana.
But as lovely as this house is, for $14 million I think I'd rather a private island... then again that might be my desperation for a vacation talking.
