Friday Nights Live at the ROM - Photography
In partnership with the CONTACT Photography Festival, explore the ROM's feature exhibitions with artists Larry Towel and Deborah Samuel. Grab a drink in the Rec Room Photo Lounge and step in front of the camera to create your own works of art.

Craft Beer Party
'Tis the Saison Craft Beer Party at the Black Oak Brewing Co. welcomes the beginning of spring with their new Summer Saison brew. Brewed with wheat, orange zest, coriander and special yeast, this seasonal ale delivers continental character and flavour. Join them for an evening of beer and grilled cheese, courtesy of Melt Grilled Cheese.

Spirit of Toronto
This once-a-year event features an array of 100+ single malts and premium spirits, tutored tastings, live jazz and bossa nova. Also enjoy a gourmet table d'hote from Daniel et Daniel, classic cocktails, and a poolside cigar bar on the outdoor lower level of Roy Thomson Hall.

Food Tour of Riverside/Leslieville
This weekly walking food tour of the Leslieville and Riverdale neighbourhoods takes place every Saturday from April to November. This tour will involve tastings of Ontario wines, oysters, olive oils, cheese, desserts, and more. Discover the vibrancy of a community that began as a small village back in the 1850's and has transformed itself into one of Toronto's hippest new neighbourhoods and the headquarters of Toronto's film industry.

Toronto Roller Derby
Enjoy an evening of trackside cheering and drinking with the Toronto Roller Derby League. Get ready for bout 4 of the 2012 roller derby season as team D-VAS takes on the Disloyalists, and Chicks Ahoy! take on the Smoke City Betties. Tickets are $12 in advance.

Fit Factory Fitness "O" Course
Factory Fitness is officially launching The "O" Course. Based on U.S. Marine Corp fitness training, former U.S. Marine Drill Instructor, Tony A., will train you to prepare for the Spartan Race, Warrior Dash and Tough Mudder. $30 will offer you a rewarding workout and fun post-race activities including BBQ, beach volleyball, rock climbing, and an outdoor pool party.

Yoga in the Park at Trinity Bellwoods
This summer, Lululemon will be pairing up with studios across the city to provide free yoga classes on Sunday mornings in Trinity Bellwoods--trees, grass, the outdoors, and a cool morning breeze equals perfection. This week's installment is in collaboration with teachers from Misfit Studio. Bring your own mat if possible.

Bootleg Film Festival
The Bootleg Film Festival is a travelling film festival that celebrates the accomplishments of the truly independent filmmaker. With previous successes in Scotland, South Wales, and England, the films are gritty, unique, and catering to true cinephiles. Bootleg is making its North American debut in Toronto.

COMEDY
The Superstars of Comedy
The Superstars of Comedy returns to Comedy Bar after multiple sold-out shows. This evening of hilarity will feature some of the best stand-up comedians in Toronto, and the evening will be hosted by the witty Dylan Gott. Prepare yourself for performances by Craig Fay, Pat MacDonald, Todd Graham, and headliner Matt O'Brien.

Mother's Day Sweets Tour

Mother's Day Lecture and Tea Tasting
"High Style, A Fashionable Tasting of Tea" is a morning devoted to tea. Linda Gaylard, a certified tea sommelier, will comment on tea's influence on style and social history, from its aristocratic origins to its wide appreciation today. The talk will be followed by a sampling of three teas--green, oolong and black--paired with delicious light fare chosen to complement the flavour profiles of each tea.

Tea at the Spadina Museum
Mother's Day Cream Tea is happening Sunday at the Spadina Museum. Bring your mother to the Spadina Museum to enjoy cream tea in a beautiful setting followed by a tour of the restored museum. Tea and Restoration Tour tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance.
