Road closures in Toronto for the weekend of May 23 and 24 rounds up the key transportation shut-downs affecting the city, including street and TTC closures.
KEY ROAD CLOSURES IN TORONTO
King: Metro Hall--Simcoe, Simcoe: Wellington--King, University: Wellington--Queen's Park Circle. The World Partnership walk will close the south curb lane of King Street between Metro Hall and Simcoe Street on Sunday, May 24, 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The west and centre lanes of Simcoe and the entirety of University between Wellington and Queen's Park will also be during this time.
TTC CLOSURES
Line 1: Bloor-Yonge--Lawrence No subway service between Bloor-Yonge and Lawrence stations on May 23-24. All trains on Line 1 will turn back southbound at Bloor-Yonge Station and northbound at Lawrence Station. Replacement buses will stop at all stations. Rosedale, St. Clair, Davisville, and Eglinton stations will be open for connecting surface routes and fare purchases at the collector booth. Summerhill station will be closed.
