Weekend road closures in Toronto: July 2nd and 3rd


Notable road closures in Toronto on July 2nd and 3rd:

  • St. Clair Avenue is closed from Dufferin to Lansdowne Avenue for the Corso Italia Festival. The closure runs until late night on Sunday.
  • Church Street is closed from Carlton to Hayden Street until Monday at 6 a.m.
  • Wellesley is closed between Jarvis Street and Queen's Park Circle from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday for the Pride Remembrance Run.
  • Sections of Yonge, Church, Bloor and Wellesley will be temporarily be closed for the Dyke March, which gets underway at 2 p.m. Saturday (though many of the closures will be in effect earlier).
  • The main Pride Parade starts at 2 p.m. Sunday and will close down a significant portion of Yonge Street between Bloor and Gerrard streets. The staging area on Rosedale Valley Road will also be best to avoid. For the complete route, check out our Pride preview post.
