Linkin Park will be coming to Toronto as part of a new world tour
Linkin Park fans, the good news just keeps on coming. The band's first album since 2017, 'FROM ZERO,' comes out tomorrow, Nov. 15, 2024, and now they've announced that as part of a massive world tour, they will be making a stop right here in Toronto.
The tour dates span nearly a year, and this comes as the band has gotten back together following the passing of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017.
Band members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn, have grown in size with the addition of Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain as they gear up for this epic journey.
According to Live Nation, the group "began meeting up again in recent years."
The idea was not to restart but to "spend more time together, and reconnect with the creativity and camaraderie that has been at the core of their friendship since college."
As time went on the band invited various friends and "cohorts" to jam with them in the studio, which is how they arrived at the addition of Armstong and Brittain.
The chemistry was strong and thus, 'FROM ZERO' was born.
Are you as excited as I am? Here's what to know about the tour and how to get tickets.
Linkin Park shared the announcement to their fans on social media today by posting a photo of all the tour stops, writing "From Zero World Tour 2025." The dates start in Jan. 2025 and end in Nov. 2025.
The Toronto stop on the From Zero World Tour will be on Aug. 8, 2025, at Scotiabank Arena with a 7:30 p.m. start time.
If you can't make it to the Toronto show, Linkin Park will also be stopping in a couple of other Canadian cities including in Montreal at Bell Centre on Aug. 6, 2025, and in Vancouver at Rogers Arena on Sept. 21, 2025.
Mark your calendar and get ready. Tickets for Linkin Park's show in Toronto go on sale on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at 12 p.m. on Ticketmaster. There is a way to grab some sooner, as part of the LPU Legacy Presale, which will be on Monday, Nov. 18, 2024 at 10 a.m.
In the end, it does matter, so don't miss out on your chance to see Linkin Park, Toronto.
