Sabrina Carpenter surprises staff at Toronto store

Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter is in Toronto, and she just swung by a local business, much to the surprise of the staff.

While it might be Slim Pickins when it comes to getting a ticket to the Espresso singer's upcoming concert, you might still have the chance to see Sabrina Carpenter while she's in Toronto — she's already getting spotted in and around the city.

After kicking off her Short n' Sweet tour in Columbus, Ohio this Monday, the singer has set her sights north of the border for a one-night engagement at Scotiabank Arena on Sept. 25, and it seems she's doing a little shopping while she's in town.

On Tuesday, Sept. 24, Carpenter stopped by Queen West record shop, Kops, posing for a picture with a staff member in the store and signing a copy of her chart-topping album, Short n' Sweet, for good measure.

"@sabrinacarpenter just came by," the caption of the post reads. "Thank you for your love and support!"

The post immediately garnered an outpouring of support — and a healthy amount of jealousy — from the record shop's followers.

"This is crazy omg that's my comfort pop star and my comfort record store," comments one person.

"NO WAY SHE'S JUST CASUALLY AT KOPS WHAT," writes another.

Kops tells blogTO that "Sabrina just wandered in near close out of nowhere and bought 3 copies of her new album." Talk about being your own biggest fan!

Kops Records is located at 395 Queen West, with additional locations at 209 Danforth and in Oshawa at 34 King East.
