Toronto Music News: Canadian Music Fest edition
Tonight marks the beginning of Canadian Music Fest 2010, with over 700 artists swarming 45 venues across the city for a five-night party.

The Hoa Hoa's - 'Vinyl Richie'
The Hoa Hoa's play The Silver Dollar's Comfort Zone at 11pm for NeXT and Optical Sounds showcase on Saturday night. They'll be joined by Ostrich Tuning, Revolvers, Mutters, The Black Feelings and Action Makes.
- BlogTO's newest music contributor Tom checked out Dinosaur Bones last weekend when they played the Steamwhistle Brewery with Everything All the Time and Make Your Exit. Torontoist recently caught up with Dino Bones for a chat about their upcoming SXSW appearance and the downsides to touring Canada. They'll play The Silver Dollar at 10pm on Thursday night.
Audio Blood Media Prepare for CMW
Download Audio Blood's CMW mixtape here. Their showcase goes down on Thursday night at the El Mocambo and features performances from Leif Vollebekk, We Are the City, The Darcys, Clothes Make the Man, Make Your Exit and Sandman Viper Command.

Morning Noon Night presents: Diamond Rings at Double Double Land
Diamond Rings plays The Garrison at 10pm on Thursday (Eye Weekly showcase) and The Silver Dollar at 11pm on Friday (Pop Montreal showcase).
Two Way Monologues Minilogue: The Balconies
The Balconies play the Horseshoe Tavern on Saturday night at 9:20pm as part of the Chart Attack showcase with Yukon Blonde, The Beauties, The Wooden Sky, Two Hours Traffic, The Junction and The Stanfields. The Wooden Sky's Gavin Gardiner stopped by Canadian Interviews for a lengthy chat recently.

Festival wristbands are available for single days ($30) or the full five-day festival ($60). VIP passes will set you back $150, but give you priority access as well as meet-and-greet opportunities and front-of-the-line access to the 10th annual Indies.
Wristbands and tickets are available for individual shows through Canadianmusicfest.com, Rotate This, Soundscapes and the dreaded, last-resort option of Ticketmaster.
