You've heard some people speak about it, write about it, run on and on and on about it, and maybe even cry about it. It's The Ford Plant, and it's not Toronto. More like BRANTFORD!

However, there's definitely no shame in The Ford Plant not being in Toronto. In fact, it's probably one of Ontario's most prominent music venues outside the GTA. The Ford Plant began as an idea, fueled by a desire to breathe life into Brantford's music scene. It has hosted many great bands within its small but most-definitely accessible space such as The Arcade Fire, The Hidden Cameras, Wolf Parade, Constantines, Unicorns, Jim Guthrie, Cuff the Duke, Controller.Controller, Julie Doiron, The Stills, Cadence Weapon, Kepler, Jon Rae and the River, Ninja High School, Wintersleep, Wooden Stars and more.

This week, starting today (technically), The Ford Plant will host it's annual festival of amazing times called the Murdered City Music Fesitval. It happens over 5 days and it includes a spectacular list of bands that you'd lunge yourself at the stage for. You'd ask yourself, "why go out to Brantford for this?" The Ford Plant offers an intimate environment where everyone knows everyone. It also offers a great experience in show-going.
