High Park Deli Express is believe it or not, located right across from the park in its name. It sells Eastern European cheese, kielbasa, and salamis in addition to sandwiches and pre-made hot food items cooked in the small kitchen within the shop. Ukrainian and Russian pantry goods can also be found here, as well as candies and sodas native to those lands. A tasty, if oily, beef stew with rice was $7.50 all in, and had a generous amount of meat. You can eat at the three seats lined along the front window or at one of the small tables outside, surrounded by flowers in pots.
