Rockin' Rolo

Wacky. Weird. Zany. Totally Fun.

All these words come to mind the minute you walk into this store. At first glance, you are almost in sensory overload as this little store is chock full of goodies. You simply want to touch everything. Rolo is a giftware-lifestyle-gadget happy store that offers goods that are unusual, tongue-in-cheek, and hard to find from designers like Koziol, Artemide, and Hello Kitty, just to name the few.

It's the perfect store for those people on your list that are hard to buy for. What does the urban girl who has everything need? A "Hello Kitty" Sandwich Maker, of course! This little gadget will not only toast your sandwiches but will brand one side of your sandwich with a "Hello Kitty" logo and the other with a teddy bear. You could even pick up a Koziol tampon holder that can also do the double duty of holding condoms. Not sure what to get? Ask the friendly staff who will happily make suggestions. My personal favourite is the Voodoo knife block, a plastic shaped figure of a person with knives going through it.

Don't ask me why, it simply makes me laugh.

For a breathe of fresh air in sometimes stodgy Yorkville, pop into Rolo Store at 24 Bellair Street. You will leave with a smile.
