The Youth Showcase Concert Series is a not-for-profit concert series that was established by Senaida Ng with the intention of creating a platform for emerging local youth musicians to perform. In partnership with Downtown Markham’s annual Summer Music Festival, the Youth Showcase Concert Series gives artists under the age of 25 a chance to perform in front of a large audience. The Youth Showcase Concert is an event for youth run by youth to celebrate the talents of local musicians. The featured genres include pop, rock & roll, hip hop, electronic dance music, jazz, funk, acoustic and world music.

The event is free to attend and featured performers for the Kickoff Concert include singer-songwriter, SENAIDA; jazz singer, Avery Raquel; and rock & roll band, James Marrin & the Midnight Riders.
