Come join us at the Tropicana Centre of Excellence this November 19th and be a part of our Young Men’s Health and Wellness Conference (YMHWC) where we tackle men’s health and wellness like you’ve never seen before.

Tropicana’s Young Men’s Health & Wellness Conference (YMHWC) is a day-long experience which provides education and connections to community resources which improve the health and well-being of men of colour, aged 13 to 29 years from the GTA and surrounding areas. An extension of the Man Up program, ran by Tropicana Community Services, the conference hopes to encourage positive habits and expand resources available to young men of colour; in order to foster their transition into individuals whom are healthier, and are more engaged community members. Speakers for this year’s event include music and entertainment veteran Farley Flex, former Toronto Police Constable Marc Rainford, communications expert Fred Sherman, Sexual Health & Prevention Coordinator Mary Yehdego as well as several other community-engaged experts from the financial, mental health and physical education fields.
