Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors
The Art Gallery of Ontario will be the only Canadian stop for Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors.
Featuring the North American debut of numerous new works by the celebrated Japanese artist, visitors are invited to enter fantastical worlds as they experience six of Kusama’s most iconic kaleidoscopic environments, alongside the artist’s large-scale paintings, sculptures and works on paper.
Two to three visitors will be allowed in each Infinity Mirror Room at once. Visitors will have a limit of 20 to 30 seconds in each room. Wait times are estimated at 20 minutes per room.
Free with admission, the AGO’s installation of Kusama’s Narcissus Garden features over 1,300 stainless-steel mirror balls spread throughout the Signy-Eaton Gallery from Feb. 24, 2018 to April 29, 2018.
The first block of timed-entry tickets go on sale to the public from January 16 – 19 2018, with an equal batch of tickets released online each day at 10 am.
Tickets are $21.50 for post-secondary students and youth ages 17 and under, $26.50 for seniors and $30 for adults and are available online only through www.ago.ca.
There is a maximum of four tickets available per transaction. During the run of the show, there will be a limited number of same-day timed tickets released at the AGO box office at 10 am. Pending availability, visitors will be able to purchase up to two tickets at once and AGO Members will be able to receive their regular allotment.
