The World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest event dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds to fight global poverty. It is an initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC), a non-profit global development organization and registered Canadian charity that works in Asia and Africa to find sustainable solutions to the complex problems causing global poverty.

Funds raised through the Walk support programs that help millions of people in Africa and Asia break the cycle of poverty, improve quality of life and unlock potential for communities. Funds raised also leverage additional support from other donors such as the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada.
