In this solo exhibition featuring the first piece of art Khalid Romain created, he invites you to witness the merging of culture, history, and personal experiences through his paintings. Khalid Romain pays homages to the Trinidad carnival, love, family, and references to history, lore and spirituality.

Romain draws inspiration from the renowned Trinidadian artist LeRoy Clarke's exploration of spiritual being-ness and channels Cy Twombly's use of colour and movement in his work.
