Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? 60th Anniversary!
60th Anniversary Screening!
Named by the American Film Institute as one of the 50 Best Villains of American Cinema, Bette Davis’ portrayal of bitter ex-child actor “Baby Jane” Hudson stands as one of the most deliciously wicked onscreen performances of all time.
Get ready for the clash of the Hudson sisters: Former vaudeville cutie Baby Jane (Davis) and one-time movie idol Blanche (Joan Crawford) are unhappily stuck together in a crumbling Hollywood mansion, where they regularly dredge up recriminations and disappointments of the past. Blanche is now confined to a wheelchair, dependant on Jane as her crabby (and boozy) caretaker.
Quarrels and accusations eventually turn into mind games and sinister schemes as frail Blanche tries to escape the house before Jane’s anger turns deadly.
