Vaughan Mills' Lunar New Year Celebrations

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Vaughan Mills’ Immersive Wishing Tree and House of Illumination Experience in support of Mackenzie Health (Feb. 1-13). For every wish made, Vaughan Mills will donate $1 to the Mackenzie Health Foundation. A great way to welcome in the Year of the Dragon!

Join us for the Kick Off Celebration Saturday, January 3rd from 11am -1pm. Along with placing a wish on the garden’s welcoming arches or wishing tree, guests can enjoy cultural performances and events including a traditional lion dance, live music and special visit from the God of Fortune. Also, a cooking demonstration by Toronto restaurateur and celebrity chef, Trevor Lui as he shares his dumpling making secrets.

The malls' Centre Court will be transformed into a scenic landscape reminiscent of traditional Chinese gardens. Visitors will enjoy writing down and hanging their well-wishes on the wishing tree or dragon arches, as well as a walk-through immersive experience, surrounded by glowing lanterns in the House of Illumination.

As part of the experience guests can take part in the Spend and Get promotion that provides mall customers who spend a minimum $288 or more a chance to play a lucky game to win prizes. Show your receipt and spin to win wonderful retailer items.
