Albertan synth-pop musician Vanden Dool is a member of one of the most often overlooked music scenes in his home province. Taking elements of indie, new wave, darkwave and industrial and dispersing them throughout his discography, he combines pop hooks and dance beats to melancholic themes of heartache, loneliness, poverty, and insatiable longing. Along with touring across the country, he has shared the stage with Southern Ontario's Glass Apple Bonzai, Vancouver's Actors, Montreal's Thierry Larose, Calgary's Sunglaciers and many more.
