Universe in a Glass Film Screening and Q&A

Special Exhibition Program

Co-Presented with Toronto Animated Image Society (TAIS) and Subtle Technologies

There is more life in a drop of ocean water than most major cities on Earth; yet, this awesome ecology is invisible to the naked eye and goes largely unnoticed. As a practice with a long history of visualizing scientific wonders, this international screening of animated shorts illuminates the majesty of the very medium of life. In keeping with the theme, viewers can enjoy locally crafted beverages and an experimental probiotic cocktail. A Q&A with the curators will follow the screening. Includes admission to the special exhibition Janet Macpherson: A Canadian Bestiary.

(Doors open: 7 pm; Screening: 8 pm)
