TRANScenDANCE is an 8 week FREE creative movement dance class exclusively for trans and nonbinary children; gender non-conforming children; gender fluid children. Using playfulness to connect with curiosity and creativity TRANScenDANCE celebrates the unique and wonderful beings that we are!

Date & Time: Tuesdays Oct 17th – Dec 19th (NO classes on Oct 31st & Nov 28th) | 6:30-7:30pm

Location: 400 Jarvis St, Toronto, ON M4Y 2G6, on the campus of Canada’s National Ballet School

Who is it for: Trans, nonbinary children, gender non-conforming children; gender fluid children. Ages 5-10 years old - priority of registration will go to BIPOC families and their children.

Why: There are no dance classes exclusively for gender non-conforming children. Dance can be extremely gendered and include prescribed ideas of what movements are appropriate for girls and which are appropriate for boys. TRANScenDANCE creates a safe space for any gender expression to experience the joy of dance.
