Traditional Jamon Carving Workshop with Joselito
A Maestro Cortador from Joselito will travel from Spain to spend a full day teaching the proper carving of jamôn in a hands-on workshop exploring the realm of Spanish cured meats. They will discuss the classifications, traditions, methods, and production of jamón from farming to meat curing. Participants will practise time-honoured slicing techniques on their own whole Jamón Serrano — with a market value of $375 — which they will take home with them, vacuum-packed for easy transportation and storage.
A light lunch of tapas and Spanish cheeses, included in the workshop, will provide an excellent opportunity to savour the world-renowned ingredients and culinary traditions of Spain and the lessons taught by our experts.
