Toronto's Ravines: Nature and History at Your Doorstep

This presentation, highlighted with artwork and photos discusses Toronto's ravine wildlife, vegetation, and history, with a particular focus on the ecological services the ravines deliver to our city, and the current challenges facing the ravines and their biodiversity. The talk will also feature stewardship projects by the Toronto Field Naturalists and other groups.

Ellen Schwartzel is the former Ontario Deputy Environmental Commissioner and a former president of Toronto Field Naturalists.
