Toronto Ukrainian Film Festival will feature eight screenings of Contemporary Ukrainian films on March 10-12, 2023 at The Royal Cinema in Toronto, Ontario.

Initiated and organized by Roman Lysiak, the Toronto Ukrainian Film Festival TUFF showcases the talent of contemporary Ukrainian artists and filmmakers. It will feature new and upcoming Ukrainian films which are being noted on the world stage. These works are being screened, nominated, and are winning prestigious awards at festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, and TIFF. This is an opportunity to celebrate a facet of contemporary Ukrainian culture by telling stories of bravery, love, compassion, and fierce resistance through the media of film.

Proceeds from the festival will go to Second Front Ukraine Foundation, a Ukrainian organization that fundraises for medical and protective gear for Ukrainian soldiers on the front line, and the Canada-Ukraine Foundation CUF (for their Aid for Artists Campaign), a humanitarian aid organization operating since 1995.
