Toronto Polar Plunge

The Toronto Polar Plunge, presented by the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run is a fun opportunity to support Special Olympics Ontario athletes by taking a flying leap – a leap into very cold water! This year, all funds raised by the Toronto Polar Plunge will support the Special Olympics Ontario 2019 Invitational Youth Games (May 14-17).

This year, we have added a 2 KM Fun Run to the plunge! Get yourself warmed up before taking a dip into chilly Lake Ontario. The run will start at the Toronto Raptors Practice Facility ( 20 British Columbia Rd., Toronto) at 11:30 AM. We will run to Budapest Park to take the plunge!

The 2019 Invitational Youth Games will bring together 2,500 student-athletes aged 13-21 from around the WORLD to Toronto, Canada. The Games will host a Unified Sports and Traditional team option in 5 sports (athletics, basketball, bocce, floor hockey, and soccer).

Come help us raise funds and celebrate the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics at the inaugural Special Olympics Ontario Invitational Youth Games to showcase the past, and celebrate the future!
