Toronto Outdoor Picture Show presents SELMA at Corktown Common!

Join us for our last screening of our “Cinematic Cities” series at Corktown Common! Our journey takes us to SELMA, a dramatized retelling of the 1965 march led by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama in protest of racial segregation. SELMA is paired with two local shorts: BLMTO: BLACK PRIDE, a documentary about the takeover protest of Toronto’s 2016 Pride Parade by Black Lives Matter, and 100 MUSICIANS, Charles Officer’s exploration of race relations through an intimate argument between a couple of colour. BYOBlanket. Eats & treats available from 7pm. Films begin at sundown (approx. 9:00pm). Free / PWYC ($10 suggested donation).
