Keep the party going with us on May 27th to 29th in Toronto. World Lindy Hop Day is inexpensive weekend of dancing to live swing bands, vintage shopping, partying and chilling with friends to carry you through from CSC to Stompology.

DETAILS:

This year is going to be different from previous years because we are bringing you 2 nights of live music with 2 fantastic Toronto Big Bands at the Dovercourt House lots of room to dance!

Plus..25 of the total proceeds for the WLHD weekend including the Saturday Night Silent Auction will be donated to the Frankie Manning Foundation, with the rest going to fund Lindy Hop initiatives right here in Toronto TLH is a Not for Profit organization.

THE BANDS and what to expect on each night:

Friday Night:

We have partnered up with Lindy Hop Revolution to bring you the Vintage Spectacular Dance with the 17 Piece Big Band GTA Swing Band. and remember to come dressed for a vintage spectacular party.

Beginner lesson taught by Dan Amores & Caitlin Wellman

THEN...

Saturday Night:

We are doing it again and bringing back another favorite Big Band in the City... Martin Loomer's Orange Devils 18 piece Big Band! The theme is "Savoy", so make sure you get your picture taken at the photo booth and come in your Savoy Best!

Saturday Night will also carry on the "Savoy Theme" on 2 FLOORS with our annual Silent Auction with a portion of the proceeds going to the Frankie Manning Foundation. Photo booth, special performances, AND late night After Party Dj'd Funk Soul Night on the same floor so no need to go anywhere.

Plus 2 Beginner Swing Lessons with Luis & Natalia from Lindy Hop Revolution

Note: Individual dance tickets will be available closer to the event as space permits. AND the prices will be $20 for Friday and $40 for Saturday this is the same pricing for at door tickets if avail.

# 1: Vintage Crawl to Kensington Market hosted by Liz from TLH. Time: 1pm. Free to attend transportation to Kensington is on you, RSVP at registration or by emailing 'liz@torontolindyhop.com.

About: Kensington Market has several cool and funky vintage stores for all tastes. all on one street! We will meet up and then go vintage clothing shopping to several stores in that area and then depending on how the day goes we can stay in that area and browse around or split off to visit a possible other store I have in mind.

# 2: Swing Jazz Record Hop shop crawl' hosted by Toronto Swing DJ and our TLH Marketing guru, Chelsea and swing dance teacher and Swing DJ-Arthur!

About: Come browse or shop with friends as we tour some of the city's most popular record shops.
