About TiKA:

TiKA, a Toronto native now based in Montreal is more than just a Canadian artist. She is a singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, actress, model, host, TV personality & multi-disciplinary.

TiKA’s debut album + short film will be released in the Spring of 2019. The album aptly titled “Anywhere But Here” serves as a brilliant indication of her unique voice, her distinctive resonance and personality as a developed artist. The album is completely produced by 24-year old multi-instrumentalist & Redbull Music Academy graduate, Casey MQ and is being coined as one of the most anticipated albums of 2019.

This year, TiKA had many highlights including playing major festivals like SXSW, M For Montreal, Luminato, Pop Montreal, Redbull SoundSelect, Venus Fest, NXNE, PRIDE and Wavelength Music.

She starred in short film "HAVEN" directed by Kelly Fyffe-Marshall and produced by Tamar Bird. "Haven" landed in many film festivals including SXSW Film Festival, Cannes, Toronto Black Film Festival, Triforce Short Film Festival and has already won 2 awards.

The highlights didn’t stop there as TIKA was the only Toronto musician selected by Sephora to be one of their new models for their 2018 summer campaign!

The campaign can still be seen in various TTC bus terminals, on billboards throughout Toronto, and was also featured in the middle of Yonge-Dundas Square and in various Sephora Canada locations.

While her vocation as an ambassador and creator of music has been well established, her image and sound as a new artist is being unleashed to make a very durable impression in order to gracefully provide what this generation has been missing musically.
