Tick Adoption Centre
While they’re certainly found in wooded areas, ticks are being found in Canadian cities more than ever. That’s why, the world’s first Tick Adoption Centre, popping up in Toronto this weekend (May 13-14, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at 663 Queen Street West, connecting Toronto’s pups with locally sourced emotional support ticks. Like your dog, ticks have an appreciation for the outdoors, an appetite for affection, and a strong attachment style – what’s not to love? It’s our hope that, through this event, we’ll forge connections which can blossom into long, fulfilling friendships.
OK – all jokes aside – the Tick Adoption Centre is designed to educate and engage the dog community about tick prevention because we all know that, once Ticks meet our dogs, it’s a tough bond to break.
