Artist bios:
Paul Alexander's effervescent personality and skill behind the lens has earned him the reputation as a photographer's photographer. Paul has honed his craft with a keen understanding of the subtle nuances in each of his subjects physical being and personality, and captured those insights in his photography. Paul was a season's judge on "Canada's Next Top Model" and has recently returned from a 2 month assignment in Amsterdam where he filmed the new hit television series, "I Can Make You a Supermodel".
Petar Boskovic is a photo-based artist currently living in Toronto. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in 2009 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University in 2015. His aim is an ontological survey of the everyday, examining and exploring the way in which our lives exist both on the surface of things and beneath it. The attempt is to capture the absurd and visceral elements of urban spaces, generating images that exemplify the duality of presence and vacancy.
Cosmo Calisse is a Toronto based Photographer & Filmmaker. Born in Italy and raised in the US and France, he moved to Toronto in 2010 where he now lives and works. Calisse shoots a variety of styles but is probably best known for his incredible Toronto skyline and skyscraper rooftop imagery.
Ryan Emberley is one of Canadas premier event photographers. He specializes in high-society galas and artistic celebrity photography, with images appearing in Vogue, the Wall Street Journal, Globe and Mail, National Post, W Magazine, Forbes and more. His subjects include Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Justin Trudeau, George Clooney and Victoria Beckham.
William Emerson Gaydos is a Toronto-based photographer, artist, and designer. Having lived in the city most of his life, his work is strongly influenced by the urban experience. As a photographer he uses colour and perspective to challenge the monotony of everyday city living, often highlighting design elements within a scene such as text/lettering and lines. His background includes over 12 years in the Toronto graffiti scene, and an HBA in Urban Studies and Human Geography from the University of Toronto, experiences which together have informed his creative work.
Trevor Godinho is a photographer and artist best known for photographing some of Hollywoods most famous leading men and women. His fashion and commercial photography work can be seen gracing the pages of Vogue Italia and Elle Canada. Trevor most recently exhibited his sculptural work at The Gardiner Museum in Toronto.
Mara Gajic is a recent graduate of OCAD University. Her work is driven by elements of performance to explore open narratives of self-construct, personal psychology and the quiet space between imagination and reality. Using colourful visual narratives in her photography, Gajic has developed a bold signature style in her work that encourages an unspoken dialogue between the viewer and artist.
Pamela Julian is a self-taught photographer whose passion for photography started when she was a child. Pamela has tried her hand at many different genres, with architecture and urban exploration remaining favorites. Photography has become a way to show how she not only sees the world, but how these locations make her feel upon closer consideration.
Nick Kozak is a freelance photojournalist whose current work is focused on the issues of community and identity, their inseparability and constant state of flux. His curiosity is combined with a keen eye, innate sensitivity and desire for greater social awareness. He photographs regularly for newspapers and not-for-profits and captures moments of daily life around him.
Chris Reign is a branding, lifestyle and nightlife photographer from Toronto. Chris is known for photographing nightly in Toronto's most popular clubs and lounges. He has photographed some of today's most known musical artists like Drake, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Flo-Rida and more.
Tom Ridout is a photographer and a landscape architect. His professional design experience forms the foundation of his photographic projects. Toms photography is concentrated on urban and industrial architecture. His subjects include storefronts, warehouses, industrial and remnant buildings. Last year he received an Ontario Arts Council grant for his project Consumed.
Harrison Taylor works mainly in photography, and within this medium explores his passion for abstraction, challenging the conventional 'limitations' that photography imposes. Taylor received his Studio Art undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and furthered his studies in photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Taylor has been working professionally as an artist for five years now, having built a respectable portfolio with exhibited works in events such as Powerball and Nuit Blanche.
