Symphony #9 and Piano Concerto #1 by Alexei Ratmansky, Artist-in-Residence at American Ballet Theatre and one of the world’s most acclaimed choreographers, are set to the music of the legendary composer Dmitri Shostakovich.
Being and Nothingness, Principal Dancer and Choreographic Associate Guillaume Côté’s newest work, is a reflection in dance of a key theme in Jean-Paul Sartre’s existential philosophy and is set to the mesmerizing music of Philip Glass.
The Sleeping Beauty

The Sleeping Beauty by dance legend Rudolf Nureyev, is a ballet that epitomizes, perhaps better than any other, the meaning of classical ballet. Staged by Artistic Director Karen Kain, The Sleeping Beauty is a “grand jewel in The National Ballet of Canada’s repertoire” (National Post) and is one of the company’s most beloved and admired works.
This season marks 25 years of beautiful performances by Principal Dancer Sonia Rodriguez. The company will celebrate Sonia at The Sleeping Beauty performance on June 13 at 7:30 pm.

Rush seats are available for purchase online. Tickets start at $40 and are available on the day of the performance starting at 11:00 am.
