In its inaugural year, THE INVITATIONAL spotlights New York and Toronto. The contemporary art exhibition brings together six leading galleries from the two cities and the work of over 25 internationally recognized artists for a four-day presentation in Toronto. The exhibition revolves around the human figure, surveying artists’ attempts to render and make sense of the world today.

Participating galleries include Blum & Poe (Los Angeles–New York–Tokyo), Bortolami (New York), Cooper Cole (Toronto), Gladstone Gallery (Brussels–New York), James Fuentes (New York), and Towards (Toronto). Food and beverages are provided by hospitality partner The Drake and Drake Catering.

THE INVITATIONAL is hosted at 346 Spadina Avenue, formerly the Bright Pearl Restaurant, in Chinatown.
