On Friday, May 16th 2014, The Human Canvas Project will be celebrating their second anniversary at Qlix Studioz, 228 Queen St. East at 6pm.

The event will feature a wide array of body art in photographs, video and with several live paintings throughout the night.

The Human Canvas is a body painting project that was designed to connect people with their bodies in a new and unique way. So often body paint seeks to hide the human form in the art, whereas this project seeks to highlight the person underneath the paint. Using only a handful of colours, Matti transforms the person into a living work of art in under an hour and captures it forever in a photograph. The project currently has several thousand followers on Facebook and has been viewed by over a million people.
