The Creator Class: THe Cinematographer
The Creator Class and Canon Creator Lab presents The Cinematographer.
Join us for an intimate panel discussion in the Canon Creator Lab featuring three distinctly different cinematographers with different points of view and aesthetics. These creators will explore each others career journeys and how they established themselves as sought after cinematographers. They will also discuss gear and how those choices affect a final product.
PANELISTS:
Adam Beck
Adam Beck is a director and cinematographer born in Ottawa and based in Toronto. After graduating from Film Production at Concordia University, he has become one of Toronto's most exciting young directors. In 2016, he was added to the roster of directors at the influential Common Good agency.
Alan Jacobsen
Alan Jacobsen has shot documentaries for two-time Oscar-nominated director Marshall Curry (RACING DREAMS and POINT AND SHOOT), both receiving the Grand Jury Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival. His other work of note includes SXSW cinema verité favourite ELECTION DAY and the Emmy-nominated JOURNALIST, amongst many others.
Nina Djacic
Nina Djacic is a cinematographer from Toronto, Canada. Known for bringing to life notable songs from some of Toronto's talented musicians, her some of her work includes the music video for Roy Woods song 'I Love you', Jazz Cartier's 'Godflower' and Grandtheft's 'She Knows'.
