The Bata Shoe Museum is thrilled to welcome one of the world’s most influential figures within the fashion industry to the museum to discuss the retrospective exhibition "Manolo Blahnik: The Art of Shoes", which will be on display at the BSM from May 16th, 2018 - January 6th, 2019.

For over 45 years, Mr. Blahnik’s inventiveness and superb artisanship has crossed boundaries between fashion and art, inspiring elegance and perfection. Join us as Mr. Blahnik shares his thoughts on what truly inspires him, his views on the fashion industry today and his travelling exhibition. He will be joined by the exhibition’s curator Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz and the evening will be moderated by BSM Senior Curator Elizabeth Semmelhack. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the exhibition following the talk.
