The Art of Cartography

Sea monsters, invented islands and uncharted lands - discover the unexpected beauty of maps and atlases from the 16th to the 19th century. This free exhibit features world maps, atlases, sea charts, celestial maps, city plans and other cartographic curiosities from the Toronto Public Library's Special Collections.

The Art of Cartography is on display in the TD Gallery (Toronto Reference Library). Free. Guided tours every Tuesday at 2 p.m.
