The AGO dishes up nine days of artful fun this March Break
AGO dishes up nine straight days of interactive and imaginative activities for March Break beginning Saturday, March 9 and running daily through Sunday, March 17 (with a special opening on Monday, March 11). Taking over Walker Court, the AGO’s artists-in-residence, Natalie Ferguson and Toby Gillies, present Secret Ingredient, an art making smorgasbord celebrating the foods we love. This interactive feast invites families to construct faux versions of their favourite foods, share recipes, photograph them and set a banquet table with their creations.
Inspired by the AGO’s latest special exhibit Impressionism in the Age of Industry: Monet, Pissarro and more, families are invited to build, float and race their own planes, trains and automobiles. All March Break drop-in programs and activities are included with the price of regular admission. For a complete list of programs, be sure to visit www.ago.ca.
Visitors can save $10 off the cost of a family pass on Family Day when they purchase tickets online in advance at www.ago.ca . AGO members always receive free admission.
