Take Flight
Charm of Finches' musicians are mavericks in the classical genre - all young, vibrant and electrifying musicians - and the force behind brilliant new arrangements and compositions with a reputation for delivering fresh and energetic concerts. This concert features the Canadian premieres of Saint-Saëns's Carnival of the Animals arranged by Gudrun Hinze (a great introduction to classical music for our younger audience) and Patxi Pascual's jazz and beatboxing inspired music, Patillando. The programme also includes the world premiere of "infinite blue heights" written by Canadian - Estonian composer, Riho Esko Maimets as well as a few other newly written arrangements. Don't miss the opportunity to hear these incredible musicians up close and personal, in the intimate venue of the Music Gallery, with a fantastic, vibrant programme showing how great classical music can be. Come and meet other classical music concert goers and make some new friends at the same time.
